Jurgen Klopp showed off his tactical acumen as Borussia Dortmund revealed the German manager's strategy ahead of his return to the dugout.

The ex-Liverpool boss made a brief return to coaching as Dortmund held a special farewell match for former stars Jakub Blaszczykowski and Lukasz Piszczek, with many of their old team-mates taking part.

Klopp is taking charge of Blaszczykowski's team and he revealed his special strategy for the game, telling his players: "Tomorrow's tactics; good vibes and the power of friendship. Any questions?"

The extent of his simple plan was on display in the dressing room ahead of the match. Klopp put his formation up on a board and made it clear that the aim is to pass to Blaszczykowski and for the ex-winger to score. The manager even drew an arrow with "vibes" on it, telling his men to celebrate with the crowd.

The Signal Iduna Park was sold out for the game and included a special farewell to Mats Hummels, who left the club in the summer after his contract expired. The German defender was honoured on the field and had a lap of honour as the fans applauded their former star.
