Al-Nassr star Sadio Mane was left angered by a reporter's question right after Senegal beat Cameroon in AFCON.

The former Liverpool star was on target as Senegal outclassed Cameroon 3-1 in their second match of the group stage in the African Cup of Nations. The win helped The Lions of Teranga to progress to the knockout stage. After the match, a reporter asked Mane about his experience in the Saudi Pro League and if he feels he gets less attention now that he no longer plays in Europe, having previously turned out for Liverpool.

Responding to the journalist's question, the winger said: "That's what you think because I'm not in Europe. This is sad for you guys. Because, for you guys, if you don't play in Europe, it doesn't matter. I'm not around as a football player.
"Fortunately, I can say the Saudi league is a very good league, and watched by everybody in the world, so, for me, as long as I'm doing my best and I'm enjoying myself every single minute, that's more important. The rest, for me, doesn't matter."

A lot of the superstars, who had headed to the Middle East from Europe in the summer, are already dissatisfied with the level of competition in the Saudi Pro League. Mane's former Liverpool team-mate Jordan Henderson has already left Al-Ettifaq to join Ajax in the January transfer window while former Real Madrid star Karim Benzema reportedly wants to move back to Europe.
On the other hand, Cristiano Ronaldo spoke highly of the Saudi league and even went on to claim that their league is better and more competitive than the French Ligue 1.

The 31-year-old will next be in action on Tuesday as his team take on Guinea in their final group game of AFCON. Al-Nassr, on the other hand, are set to play a host of friendly games including a match in the Riyadh Cup against Lionel Messi's Inter Miami, before they get back to competitive action in the AFC Champions League against Al-Feiha on February 14.
