Jose Mourinho is reportedly open to a return to Manchester United for a second spell as coach as he feels he has "unfinished business" at the club.

The Portuguese manager has made it his mission to have another shot at guiding the Old Trafford club to glory, reports. He hopes to work with United's new co-owners Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS, who are taking charge of football operations since purchasing a 25 percent stake in the club.

While Mourinho is looking for a way back to United, the club are not searching for a new manager at this point. Current manager Erik ten Hag is contracted until 2025 and is tasked with guiding them back up the table. Furthermore, many of the players Mourinho criticised following his time at United are still there, with the likes of Anthony Martial, Luke Shaw, Marcus Rashford and Scott McTominay still hanging on at Old Trafford.
