26-Jun-2001The Central Bureau of Investigtion (CBI) sleuths, who were in Mumbaito enquire into the telecast rights sold by top officials of the theBoard of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), left for New Delhi onMonday night without visiting the BCCI office."The CBI team headed by deputy superintendent Nikhil Duggal rang upour office last night and said they had received a phone call fromtheir Delhi office asking them to leave for Delhi immediately," BCCIexecutive secretary Sharad Diwadkar told PTI in Mumbai today.When queried weather the team would be coming back to visit the BCCIoffice later this week, Diwadkar said, "I really don’t know, they mayor may not come at all."Diwadkar along with Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) joint secretaryProf Ratnakar Shetty had hosted a luncheon for the two CBI sleuthsyesterday and the officers who were to visit the BCCI office today,left without doing so.
